SMS OTP option is not available during Authentication

Problem

When user chooses to authenticate to BlockID AdminX via SMS OTP (MFA - Multi Factor Authentication), user does not see a  "Text code to" option 

 


 


Solution

This error might occur if the user does not have mobile number associated with their BlockID profile. For AD/LDAP users, phone number is not present.


Steps

  1. For AD/LDAP users, update the mobile number in Active Directory
  2. For BlockID internal users, update the mobile number from “My Profile” section on AdminX 
    • Add relevant country code to the mobile number
  3. The user should be able to view “Text code to” option on AdminX UI
